Thumbs down Noticing a decline in players for the ZB/ZM

So I am wondering if anyone has noticed the same, it seems as though the player base of these particular quests are declining. I say that as I love doing these missions, and a few months back I could do them on all my characters(5+) in full or at least 7/8 human parties. I would say this is something I began noticing when the HA update hit(it seems this update hit a lot of aspects of the game). Now I notice that even if I can find a team and they end up being all people that changes almost instantly and I find myself having to take at least 4-7 heroes for the next rounds.

I also noticed that this is more likely to happen if: The mission is a low level mission or is not an EoTN mission.

I've to admit this makes me a little sad as I enjoy doing these missions, it does also make me feel a bit discouraged in bothering to stay around. I actually do these missions because I get to play with people, and not for myself as I've as close to maxed out account anyway.

Do you think this will change? Have you noticed this too?(If not, mind telling me at what specific times you form?)

Well, if the whole payer base is declining, clearly there will be less people playing these over time. And without newer content in-game, I doubt this trend will change.

I only do ZB/ZM when its an easy or a particular one I like, so I might not have a sample as big as yours though.

I think it has more to do with the time of year...a few months ago was---SUMMER! and tons of folks had plenty of free time to be playing games....now its...almost winter and a good portion of the free-time player base (see students) are..in school/doing homework/studying for exams....so now is a bleak time, it will get better towards wintersday and then fall off again in February...and then pick up again around spring break. and then full swing at the end of may or so.

so just give it a bit and you will see more people playing again. (or weekends--they are the best time to see the most amount of people during the 'off season')

Well for a while I actually noticed a boom in the population of people who did these quests which is what kind of made me very curious as to how it all works.

@cosyfiep: yeah that does make sense. There was just quite a boom(imo) and it dropped significantly, so I was curious as to why that was. Maybe it is as you say.

been noticing it for a few years now...for those of us who play regularly you can notice when there is a flood of people and then when they leave again.

Noticed this as well but thought it was just the time of day I play at these days.

Kinda disappointing, but can't really blame them.

I've actually noticed that in the last year, the population had leveled off and recently increased. I play in PuGs only and out of every 7 players I'm with at least one of them is new or has returned from GW2. That and the fact that empty outposts have suddenly started becoming populated with people. Now I'm not going to say there's dozens in these remote areas but 2 or 3 in each is a fairly big deal when you consider you could go a week without seeing a single person previously.
